Our Programs
Early Learning Center
We offer a play-based and faith-centered early learning program with an introduction to French. We incorporate the Catholic faith into every day learning, including grace before meals and lessons during circle time.
With our introduction to French children will be prepared for the French Immersion program offered at Our Lady of Fatima School. We believe children learn best in a relaxed and warm environment; learning is inspired by the children's ideas and further extended through intentional teaching. Our program works closely with various community health professionals and families to make inclusion part of our program whenever possible.
We are a licensed program that is offered for children 2.5–4 years old, with 2 qualified Early Childhood Educators. Our classroom is licensed for 21 children but we chose to accept 16 so we can give lots of individual attention. Children bring 2 healthy snacks and lunch.
Hours: 8:30am – 2:30pm · Monday–Friday
Program runs: September – June. We are closed during Winter/Spring/Summer Break, holidays, Pro-D days, and we mostly follow the OLF School calendar.
Before & After School Care
We offer licensed, full-time, faith-centered programs supporting children from Kindergarten–Grade 7 before and after school care. Our programs align with the B.C Ministry of Education Curriculum, as well as the Provincial Early Learning Framework. We strive to set a foundation of success for the child, both in our programs and in life. Our program offers free play, creative arts, outdoor play, and special events/activities.
We are licensed for a maximum of 69 children in our After Care program. Kindergarten & Grade 1 are in their own section with 2 responsible adults (1:12 ratio), and a separate section for Grades 2–7 with 2 responsible adults (1:15 ratio).
We offer care for the OLF School early dismissals, and you may sign up for Pro-D care at an extra charge (minimum children required). Pro-D day care runs from 8am–4pm.
Before Care: 7:00am – 8:30am
After Care: 2:45pm – 6:00pm
Monday–Friday
