Fr. Mark’s Christmas Message

A blessed and joyful Christmas everyone.

Truly, the Incarnation of the Son of God is a great gift to humanity and we are privileged to celebrate this gift in the Divine Liturgy wherein He is truly present. May your families be blessed by Jesus, the Emmanuel, God-with-us.

2022 is a milestone in my priestly ministry as I celebrated the 30th anniversary of my sacerdotal ordination last November 30. I am grateful to God for such great gift of priesthood in spite of my frailties and imperfections.

I am also thankful to many parishioners of Our Lady of Fatima for your support, affirmations and prayers. There has been many challenges in my ministry here but your friendship, words of encouragement, positive criticisms, guidance and advice gave me strength to serve our faith community.

Thank you for all those who joined me in my anniversary celebration. Your love, kindness and generosity are uplifting and inspiring.

I also would like to thank all who sent me and Fr. Claude Christmas cards and gifts. May the gracious God reward you a hundredfold.

I pray that the good Lord bless you and your families this season of Christmas and the coming year.

Fr. Mark Bautista
